Vancouver-based Pacific Northwest Pictures has acquired the Canadian distribution rights to Noah Buschel’s Glass Chin.

The movie, starring Corey Stoll (pictured) and Billy Crudup, will get its Canadian release on iTunes and in theatres on June 26 of this year. The U.S. release of the film will be on the same day, with distribution handled by Entertainment One.

Produced by Louise Runge and Samantha Housman of Onezero Films, the film follows former boxer Bud Gordon as he seeks to relive his past glories. After bowing out of the sport after a crushing loss, the movie finds Gordon living in a run down apartment. Desperate to get back in the game, he makes a shady business deal upon which the film centres.

Susan Stover and Sara Woodhatch also handle production, while Lois J. Drabkin exec produces the film, which had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival last year.

Starring alongside Stoll and Crudup are Yul Vazquez and Martin Ireland.
